Wholistic Sessions

Uniquely crafted to meet the needs of the individual, our Wholistic Sessions pull tools and techniques from different modalities to best serve the intention of the individual. We offer two kinds of Wholistic Sessions; gentle and intensive.

Below, you'll find answers to some common questions about our Wholistic Sessions.

What is a Wholistic Session?

Rather than offer a modality, we prefer to offer our medicine through Wholistic Sessions. Wholistic Sessions create space for you to access your intuition by being open to receive whatever it is you need in that moment.

Within a Wholistic Session you have choice over which modalities you'd like to access as well as the energetic intensity of our time together.

If you know there's a specific modality that you'd like to access, there is space for you to indicate that on our booking form.

What does a session with me look like?

Setting your intent

The first thing that happens when you come in for a session is a conversation. You’ll have a chance to tell me about yourself, your current situation, and what it is you’d like support with. This way I can support you in setting your intent for the session and gain a deeper understanding of what modalities and tools can support you in your current situation.

Techniques and Modalities

Once I understand your intent for the session, I’ll offer you some options. There are many techniques and modalities that we can access to support you in your intending. I’ll suggest a few techniques and explain what would be involved. You always have choice in choosing the technique that feels best for you.

The session

Each Holistic Session is a very unique and individual experience adapted specifically to meet your needs.

Depending on the technique you choose, you may be sitting on a chair or laying on the table. I may offer props or use tools to support your intending. I may place my hands on or over certain areas on your body. You may experience heat building up, physical sensations, the need to stretch and move, or emotions. I will always hold space for you through these moments; helping you move through and release whatever is coming up.

Check-in

After the session, we’ll take some time to check-in. This is a time to share what insights from the session have resonated with you and give you space to ask any questions you may have. I will also give you some guidance to help the integration process after your session. It’s important that you leave our session feeling grounded.

What is a gentle session?

Gentle sessions are meant to be grounding, relaxing, and rejuvenating.

In a gentle session, there won't be much asked of you. You may find that you'd like to talk something through, you might choose to just lay on the table and let the energy do its thing, or maybe you just need someone to hold space while you move through what's coming up. Gentle sessions are catered to what will help you find calm and feel care.

This is a great option if you're new to energy work or are wanting space to experience ease and peace.

Gentle modalities include...

Reiki

Reiki is a hands-on spiritual and vibrational healing practice. By channeling universal life-force energy through both the the physical and energetic body, the individual is gently held in the space as stagnant energy is released and flows.

Witnessing

Witnessing is one human being present to another's humanness; to bear witness as another moves through the emotions of their experience. Not to protect them from their emotions, but to see them for all that they are and all that they feel.

What is an intensive session?

Intensive sessions are meant to be activating. Intensive sessions move a lot of energy, they require more intention coming in and more integration afterwards.

In an intensive session, you're invited to be more engaged with the energy that's moving. This may include breath work, moving your physical body, and modalities that require more check-in throughout.

This option is better for folks who are familiar with energy work and intend to continue the work after your session (these sessions often come with "homework", an invitation to continue leaning in).

Intensive modalities include...

Shamanic Coaching

Shamanic Coaching empowers each individual to find the medicine within themselves. Being guided through the appropriate shamanic techniques to meet their intention, clients deepen their connection to Spirit and to themselves.

Spinal Energetics Logo

Spinal Energetics

Spinal Energetics is a modality that works across 5 layers of being; physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and soul. By facilitating safety and flow within the nervous system, the individual is able to reconnect with their own innate wisdom and develop trust within themselves.

How often should I be booking sessions?

We will always be able to to have conversations to gauge what the right frequency of sessions are for you, but the key to finding the right session frequency is to listen to your body. Circumstances such as personal health conditions, current life experiences, stress levels, and healing responses as well as your intention will all play in role in much integration time you will need between sessions.

A good rule of thumb, especially for intensive sessions, follows these 3 phases...

Initial Phase (Every 1-2 Weeks): In the beginning, your body is adapting to the changes and realignments of the energy moving. During this period, booking sessions every 1 to 2 weeks is recommended. This frequency supports the nervous system as it adjusts to new patterns of energy flow and alignment and and the consistency helps to establish new ways of being. For some folks, weekly sessions for the first 1 to 3 weeks may be appropriate.

Stabilization Phase (Every 3-4 Weeks): As you attend more sessions, you'll experience a shift towards stabilization. The body and nervous system have started to adapt to the adjustments, and you might notice the shifts showing up with ease. At this stage, spacing sessions to every 3 to 4 weeks can help maintain the benefits while allowing your system time to integrate and process changes more deeply.

Maintenance Phase (Every 1-2 Months): For long-term maintenance, once your body has reached a stable and balanced state, sessions can be extended to every 1 to 2 months. This frequency is generally sufficient to sustain the impact of the sessions, while also addressing any ongoing or emerging issues before they become significant.
