What is Reiki all about?
Reiki is commonly used to reduce stress and anxiety as well as ease pain in the mind, body, and soul.
As Universal healing energy moves through the body, it releases any stuck or stagnant energy that has been caught in the body. While moving this energy, it also works to align the chakras, restoring balance and harmony in both the physical and energetic bodies.
What does a Reiki session with me look like?
Setting your intent
The first thing that happens when you come in for a session is a conversation. You’ll have a chance to tell me about yourself, your current situation, and what it is you’d like support with. This way I can support you in setting your intent for the session.

The session​
Reiki is a very individual experience; sessions can be adapted to meet individual needs.​
During the session, you will be laying or sitting comfortably. I will place my hands on or over certainly areas on your body, channeling and guiding Universal healing energy through your body. You may experience heat building up, physical sensations, or emotions. I will always hold space for you through these moments; helping you move through and release whatever is coming up.

Check-in​
After the session, we’ll take some time to check-in. This is a time to share what insights from the session have resonated with you and give you space to ask any questions you may have. I will also give you some guidance to help the integration process after your session. It’s important that you leave our session feeling grounded.
