Not everyone had someone to teach them how to smudge. As simple as smudging is, it can be daunting. Not knowing how to smudge is a common worry that many folks face when coming into circle.

Smudging Simply will teach you everything you need to know to smudge confidently and respectfully in circle.

Who is this program for?

Smudging Simply is for everyone!

I was taught that Creator gave us these medicine to share. If you feel called to Smudging Simply then this program is for you.

No prior experience necessary.

Time Commitment

Smudging Simply is a 4 week program starting April 7th during which we will be meeting weekly on Mondays from 7pm-8pm AT.

This is a virtual program, we will be meeting via Zoom.

Exchange

$20

As per Our Commitment, this program is 1/2 off for Indigenous folks.

We believe that smudging should be accessible to everyone. If you feel called to join, but are unable to afford the exchange, please look at our Energetic Exchange options.

What you get

We know that everyone learns differently and at different paces. In addition to the weekly Zoom calls, you'll have access to a 'How to Smudge' guide, a recorded 'How to Smudge' video and a group chat where you can ask questions and share with the group.

The Teachings

Throughout Smudging Simply, the teachings we will be sharing are not rooted in the protocols of a specific nation. Instead, we will be sharing common protocols that are practiced by Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island. We will also be sharing some of the variations that you can expect to see in different circles. During the Smudging Simply program, we will be using sage. This is the most common medicine that you'll encounter in circle and is the most accessible for the largest number of folks. Once you've completed the Smudging Simply program, you're welcome to join Smudging Simply - Sweetgrass and Smudging Simply - Cedar if you're interested in learning how to smudge with the other medicines.
