Sweetgrass is one of the sacred medicines the Indigenous peoples work with. It is often considered the hair of Mother Earth and is braided with good intentions. The 3 strands of the braid represent the mind, body, and spirit coming together in balance.
 
This sweetgrass was harvested in a good way by Indigenous peoples from different areas including Treaty 1 Territory and northern Quebec.
