~ ending violence against women and children ~

Made with grief and love. We hope this piece of medicine helps you find healing <3

From the Moose Hide Campaign...

The Moose Hide Campaign began as an Indigenous-led grassroots movement to engage men and boys in ending violence towards women and children. It has since grown into a nationwide movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians – all committed to taking action to end this violence.

Wearing this moose hide signifies your commitment to honour, respect, and protect women and children in your life and to work together to end violence against women and children, and all those along the gender continuum.

Moose Hide Campaign Day takes place every year around May 15th, but the movement, the converstions, and the action to end violence against women and children takes place every day.

We are so grateful to be based in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people, covered by the Peace and Friendship Treaties, on which we reside. In honour of this land and its people, we wholeheartedly embrace our responsibility to re-Indigenize and decolonize the institutions and spaces we share and everyday strive to walk in right relation with all of our relatives.
